what is the best way to start an affiliation system on my sites ( they arent online yet ).
I know about click bank ( digital products ) and Comission Junction
Are these the best ?

With Clickbank you need to process the payments via their system, which takes you to their site, it doesnt look very professional, im looking for something that would be seamless, that i could integrate to my site ...
This is for digital and non digital products

Hi. Firstly, I think you may need to make your questions more focussed to get a good reply.

Are you looking to sell other people's products as an affiliate or to set up an affiliate program to sell your products?

If you want affiliates to promote your products, what type of products are you selling? There are plenty of affiliate scripts you could use if you wanted to run it yourself. If you wanted a managed solution then it would depend on your products - check out a few networks and see if they fit with what you can offer.

If you want to sell products as an affiliate then it depends on what would work with your site - join different networks and compare their offers (and read loads on here!)

Looking at your site I'm a bit confused - some of it is in French, some in English... the blog doesn't seem very focussed, the middle link doesn't work and the other part is in French (sorry, I only know a tiny bit of French).

Good luck.

Hi

When starting an affiliate program, you have basically 3 options:
1. Go with networks like cj.com, clickbank or sahreasale. They will provide hosted affiliate tracking system, usually also pay your affiliates. Advantage of this option can be exposure to the affiliates in network. Disadvantage (in my opinion) is that when you recruit affiliates, you recruit it for network and don't have direct relationship with him. (typically you don't have acces to affiliates contact details). Another concern is relatively high monthly fees.

2. You install and host affiliate software for yourself - one time fee, direct relationship with affiliates, but you start with zero affiliates and must put some work to get new affiliates

4. Hosted tracking software - basically the same as #2, but it is not hosted on your site but on vendor's server. Also typically charged monthly.

If you want affiliate links to help you with your SEO efforts, your own software can do this nicely. In case of hosted versions - look for "direct linking" feature - otherwise affiliate links don't go directly to your website...
