I have been an affiliate of theres for about 4 yrs and they decided to close my account. What started this was I tired of every month starting in July, they would constantly shave me without telling me anything. I emailed by affiliate manager and said this was completely unfair that HydraMedia would take $300-$400 in revenue off of me each month, she then reviewed my account and said I was clicking on my ads so she was going to terminate my account. Keep in mind, this is a CPA ONLY network and I explained every ad I clicked on to see the landing page before I decided to promote it.

She would CONSTANTLY ask me if i was incentivizing (offering cash to people to complete my ads) since my conversion rate was higher than normal. IMO, this isn't hard to do when you promote products that have the same niche as your website.

I'll stick with the big boys such as CJ and Adsense :1bluewinky:

I don't get it. You're talking landing page (implying you're using PPC to drive traffic). Then on the 2nd para, it seems like you drive traffic by SEO.

HydraMedia is the shit. I've used em for about 4 years as well without any serious issues. One time they even credited me over $1,000 because a tracking error made some of my leads not show up. That's pretty honest if you ask me.

I am not a publisher with them, but have only heard bad things about them. If an AM is accusing you of paying people to do offers, that is complete disrespect and they don't deserve your business.

That's quite funny. Never any problems with Hydra. My AM Joe Arquilla is one of the best.

Yeah, Hydra is solid. Almost had an issue with them regarding some traffic, they weren't going to pay me 3K, but did, so mad respect to them. They weren't very forthcoming in getting me paid. But in the end, they were very reasonable and took care of me.

Unless of course he was incentivising when he shouldn't have....

Switch to CPA. My AM actually encouraged me to click on my own ads (to test them). Hahaha.

^^^ Well yea, I tell all of my affiliates to check out the landing page. Any affiliate who knows anything about the business will want to check the LP before they put any time or money into it.

Hydramedia sure sucks for me, as they seem to auto reject international affiliate.

Never mind with that, I will stick to Copeac who understand that international affiliate like me do drive US traffic.

Ya, they seems to even reject me. I have a website with over 60K uniques a day and doing ppc. I'll stick to NBA and azoogle :).

yeah fuck the clueless merchant.

just one of my ringtone campaign netted me $200+ in two weeks with Copeac, go figure.

Where's your traffic coming from?

60% US, 30%UK, rest are from CA, AU, DE, and other western countries... Come to think again, it must be that I said I have done ppc for one week only, but I left out that I am already netting $800 from nba.
It doesn't affect me, just that I want to see what offers are available from Hydra. They are the only one having problem accepting while all others just let me in fine.

i work with hydra, they're a good network and my rep rocks!! he never leaves me hanging and is always up front with me, they can either take the offer or they can't, there's no bullshitting.

I work with hydra and can say they are not my best network, but they are alright, nothing special though for me. I've worked with much better.

Took me three months to get an account. They even called me and said it was ready. username and password did not work. Took 2.5 months to get support for it. I was even ignored by Amber via AIM after she said she would help....
