Hyphens in URLs

A simple question, out of two URLs, which one would be considered better seo-wise?

some-things.com
somethings.com

This is just an example, the revelant keyword here is "some". So with what would you go?

I would go with somethings.com because I would think that would hold more weight in the rankings, I'm no SEO expert but thats what I would go with just based upon what I've seen in the past.

I dont think bots discriminate when it comes to the actual domain itself. They can figure out the keywords anyway, go with somethings.com for ease of typing in
