I agree. Even though I did several things to speed up FF, it still crashes. I downloaded Chrome and I love it but no add-ons make me stick with FF for the time being.

I have 3 computers I use often - my desktop pc running XP, laptop running gentoo, and my macbook pro. My primary browser on each is firefox and aside from things slowing down a bit I've never had FF crash more than 3 times on me in the last year.

It's funny how a comic post can turn into a mac vs PC or FF vs [instert f.o.t.m. browser here] so fast.

wait - who said anything about mac? do you not remember the memory leaks, the fact that FF uses 2x the memory of even IE? or that it fails the sunspider javascript test?

As I said in the Chrome for Mac thread, I tried Chrome, it was extremely fast compared to Firefox, but in the end I missed my add-ons so much I switched back.

I've tried the big six in the past year (including IE in a bootcamped partition), and here's how they stack up for me, in order of quality:

Firefox
Camino
Chrome
Opera
Safari
Internet Explorer

Still waiting for Iron.
