I have a product all setup with the CPA network.
The network requires me to integrate affiliate tracking code (with a web based lead report system)

Does anyone know if there is an open-source script (or commercial) that can help me easily integrate the code / variables.

Thanks,
Mike

You don't necessarily need to have your own tracking platform. As long as the proper pixels have been placed on your pages, you should be able to get a sub-account made for you by the network to let you check your stats.

a) So why do many advertisers use the prosper/stats/tracking 202 open source system..?

b) One of the requirements of the API is: "Provide web-based lead reports to us for conversions you recorded from our network (URL location,
user id, and password)."

A.) I'm not really sure. If you're running a decent tracking system and not Direct Track especially, then you can still track with a load of features included. There's LOTS of data that can be passed, such as affiliate ID, campaign ID, SubIDS, Creatives, and more.

B.) I think you mean discrepancies? I see that often with mobile-related offers. If you're not scrubbing any leads/sales then reports should all be generated within real time and remain valid.

It's pretty simple if yuo're working with a CPA network you place the pixel on the thank you page, test to make sure it fired properly and that's it. You can get more complicated with your own tracking if you choose to but it's not necessary.
