i cancelled with peoplehost 4 mo. ago, they wont stop charging me

I had a hosting account with peoplehost for a while, their service got bad and i switched. I cancelled my account with them 4 months ago, but they keep charging my card every month. I tried to block the charges, but i was using a debit card and they block it on a debit. The only thing i can do is cancel my card, which wouldnt be good because use it for my ppc.

Anyone have any ideas on wht i can do? They have no phone #, they dont answer emails. I have no way to contact them.

I left him a voicemail, and sent an email. But i havent heard back yet.

Any idea on what i can do to this guy. apparently peoplhost, wont cancel accounts now and wont stop charging peopes credit cards

gdubs. Call ur bank, inform them there have been fraudulent charges on your debit card. Supposed to call within 60 days, so you may only get 2 months of refunds back. Explain that you did not authorize charges beyond whatever date it was, and you demand a refund because you can't cancel your card.

This part is important, demand they cooperate with you in accordance with Federal Regulation E. The important part is to emphasize that you DID NOT AUTHORIZE the charges. Good luck, hope this helps.
 
The charges are only $10 per month. so its not alot of money. But i just want them to cancel and stop charging me.
I called my bank today, and they said a debit charge is considered a sale so i cant block them from charging me. (maybe the lady didtn know what she was talking about)
I can only cancel my card and get a new one.

Im just pissed and dont want to wait a couple weeks to get a new card. I want to talk to the asshole that runs this bullshit scam. I looked up peoplehost on google and their doing the same thing to alot of other people.
 
You have 30 days i think to dispute the transaction. If i were u i would also get a baseball bat and go on a roadtrip :P

I smell bull shit, they can charge it back. I have done it. Go to your local branch and be firm that your not paying these ass-holes. I go through Wells Fargo and they have never had a problem with that.

Else sign up with a new bank that can get things done - because your bank sounds like a scam.
 
by the way, i finally go in contact with the owner through his wife's facebook page.
She said she would have him cancel it yesterday, but it is still active today.
God this is pissing me off.

Stay away from peoplehost at all costs
