A couple of weeks ago I posted an ad for a job on craigslist, trying to persuade users to print my ad, take it to a specific Bank of America location in my area, and hand it over to a specific personal banker (whom I know well and was also fine with my doing this) as a "ticket" to getting $25 for opening a checking account. I obviously would also get $25 for each referral. Job postings in my area cost $25, and I was expecting to make much more from these referrals.

I was beginning to think that this could be pretty profitable as I got one email which said:

Hi Ben,
I want to participate - if I can't get there in the AM (I have to work), how do I make sure I'm one of the 40 people (is it really limited to 40 people?)

However, craigslist removed my ad not too long after I posted it for this reason:

Apologies for the trouble, but we are not able to accept your post in our jobs category. This area is intended for employers offering paid employment for a specific position.

I am wondering if any of you know of some job posting sites with less stringent policies where I can post this ad with the level of traffic that craigslist gets.

Also, here is the ad if anyone is interested in trying something like this:

I am looking for 40 people to open up a free checking account with Bank of America in [INSERT CITY] on [INSERT DATE] from [INSERT TIMES]. Bank of America will pay you $25.00 for opening a new My Access checking account. The money is sent to you via check or through a deposit in your account.

Here’s what you will need:
1.You will need a valid driver license, state ID, or passport.
2.You will need your Social Security Number.
3.You will need at least $25 cash to deposit into your new account.

Print this ad and take it with you to the Bank of America Tarzana Office located at:

[INSERT SPECIFIC BOA ADDRESS]
Upon entering the bank, ask for [NAME OF PERSONAL BANKER], and he will help you with opening up your new account.

I congratulate you in advance for opening up your new My Access checking account with Bank of America.
