i was working with a site's admin panel.

There is option for adding banners in the site, but only html is allowed and i wanted to put adsense code.

Have you attempted editing the raw html/php file instead of going through the admin panel? Usually when doing those types of edits, I'll edit the actual page source versus trying to add something through any type of administration panel or wysiwyg editor.
