You know what's be really awesome? A Chrome plugin that automatically deletes all retargeting cookies. Retargeting ads take up a good 75%+ of the ads I see online. Sure I could clean out my cookies every other day, but that takes time and is annoying.

A Chrome extension that lets me see who's *actually* advertising on a site without me constantly having to manually delete cookies (it runs in the background) would be awesome.

I hate retarget ads with passion too. Just because I checked your site a week ago doesn't mean I want to watch your ads for the next year

wait till the minority report type billboards come out, then you'll be really pissed. Google glass anyone?

I use this:

Ghostery

I think that's what you're looking for.

How exactly do you use this to block retargeting ads? If I block "Advertising" it just blocks the ads entirely. If I block "Analytics" or "Beacons" retargeting ads still show up.

Just to be clear, I WANT to see ads, but I want to see ads that are actually slated to run on that specific site, rather than ads that I'm seeing because of retargeting.

I think you just want to block the tracking 3pes thingamajiggers. I think...

Lol I already have it installed but I only used it to check which ad networks sites use. Didn't know it manages blocking too. Thanks for the tip

hahah me too... I've been scoping ad networks with it for over a year. I absolutely LOVE seeing this as I cruise around.
