Ideas for reviving an old blog?

About 5 years ago I wrote a bunch of small business related articles for peanuts. I realized quickly that if i rewrote/published them myself I would make a lot more using adsense. And I did.

I have no interest in the topic so I let it die. It still has a PR2 and earns about $25 a month with a trickle of traffic from SEs and referring sites.
In the last year it's had a juicy eCPM of $46.86 from adsense. It hasn't had any new content or promotion since 2005, yet it has earned me over $1000 in that time.

How would you take advantage of this?

I've been out of the game for a while. My best plan is to buy some articles, post them to the blog, have the purchased articles cheaply rewritten, submit the rewritten articles to ezinearticles and the like....

My ideas end there, what would do with about a $100 budget and several hours?

Get back in to the swing of things, and start posting good quality content again.
Spend the money on link building.

Cheers. I aim to buy good(ish) quality content. I have no idea where to start spending money on link building. A lot has changed since 2005. Where would you put a hundred bucks?
