IE Sucks!

Actually 7 & 8. I hate that IE does not display DIV containers the same why FF does. It either totally collapses them (empty) or fattens them up by x2.

It's also displaying the content in the top half of the DIV despite using 'vertical-align: middle;'

Drives me nuts. I swear I'm going to check browser type and display anyone with IE a special page telling them how lame they are using it, then redirecting them to makemonies.
 
Simply put a little logo that says: "best viewed in Firefox, Chrome, Safari". Sounds pretty simple to me.
 
yea hehe ie is surly sucks but the problem there are lot of people using it i know few progremer that are just ignoring ie
 
well remember, most of the people who will whip out the credit card are probably using IE.

That's why Analytics software is nice... if you truely hate IE6, you can least check your traffic stats to see how much you risk by alienating support for them.

As a coder I charge more if they need IE6 compatibility cuz it actually takes twice the time to check and ensure on top of the already IE7+/FF2+/Safari3+ compatible layout.

But least Microsoft tends to be pushing IE into the right direction as far as rendering engine and behavior goes.
