If dating ads + facebook = your monies, keep an eye on this...

^^ hahaha, true true. Facebook, you reading this? Cut all the advertising now, lets live from the love and air! ;)

depends on what the person thats viewing it thinks if only there was a way too get feedback on what people are into than we would no what type on ad's those type of people are into

I also heard that television users were irked by ads too, maybe advertising is a bad idea.

TV = 250+ channels vs only 1 Facebook. Who do you think pivots faster.

But I agree with you guys, advertising is dead end, get out while you can, it's too late for me, I'll just stick around to close up shop ;)

People need to stop bitching about ads on Facebook or whatever other service they're using for FREE! Those ads pay for the privilege of using that service... for FREE!

Facebook should offer premium memberships with no ads. You don't want ads? Pay to not see them. End of story.

Don't want to pay? Fuck you... now here's some ads.

Users were irked by diet ads, and Facebook banned them. I can't even get a legitimate diet or fitness offer to go through, even though it's not deceptive.

everytime i see a dating ad on facebook i mark it as misleading.. yes i'm bitter..

I think that had more to do with all the flap about rebills and Acai diet offers leading the charge at the time. Diet rebills made the news, so diet offers got nixed. Doesn't matter if an offer is legitimate today. What I'm saying is that it wasn't the irk inspiring ads that caused the trouble, it was the fraud behind them.

There was plenty outrage from users who claimed that ads were calling them fat, even when ad text like that was first banned. I can't get a FITNESS ad through easily, due to that problem. Ads for a yoga site that I placed had to be worded as to not use phrases such as "get in shape"... Even associating "healthy living" with weight was a sticking point.

I cant believe it when people bitch about ads for a free service. ITs common with Android Apps when developers have ads on the free version of the apps. Buy the paid version if you dont like it.
