If you died...would we know?

If one of us died, do you think that it'd find its way to the internet? Especially some of the lesser known guys...that still have some what of a reputation?

I personally feel that if I were to pass away for whatever reason, that none of my friends would know to log into a forum, register, and spread the word...it'd just have to be drawn from conclusions if I suddenly dissapeared for 3-4 months straight...

Do you guys have friends who know very well what you do, how you do it, and what to do if something happens?

No but I do have some papers drawn up explaining where I make all my money, how I do it, all of the passwords to all of my accounts and what to do with everything incase I die. I might add something to the folder that tells someone to let wickedfire know about my death and to post gory pictures.

Not that I plan on dieing anytime soon or anything.

My entrepreneur mind is turning.....a service where you register all forums, sites, and blogs who know you on line. In your will, you request that service is contacted (you decide ahead of time, the amount of info disclosed to the service re: your death) and they discreetly post you obituary without your whole family knowing what you have been up to/posting/etc and where you have been doing what you have been doing. For an added fee, you write your own obituary, the provider plugs in the date and cause and where to send flowers/donations!

I have one person that knows where my user names and passwords are. An announcement may or may not be made!

I hope this thread was started out of curiosity and noticing that because many of us are anonymous and/or closet entrepreneurs that we could die unoticed. If you are planning on leaving Bryan Le, re-think it, and if you want to talk we are only a short PM away! ...... and yes you'd be missed. I personally would just assume if you or anyone else here, was gone for awhile with no goodbyes, it would be because you/other posters were so busy making money from all the WF knowledge, you/they got too busy to be posting!

I know I'd be gone and why should I care, but my nature is to have good come out of every situations, I'd like to see donations go to what killed me or to a charity close to my heart (children's cancer). If my death can create an excuse to help others....it works for me.....announce away. For now, I'm still here and plan to be for a very long time!

Isn't it nice to know though......under all the T & A pics, harsh comments, educating info, random fun, and craziness at WF , there are caring and observant members? Its better to reach out when its not needed than to find out later that we should have!

It did spark conversation and brought up a good point most don't consider, especially since most internet entrepreneurs are young and probably believe they could live forever with modern technology!
