There are a few articles saying it's a pedal issue, but they actually don't know. Most people are thinking it's a computer problem, because the pedal has been looked into and there was nothing found.

That's weird - I remember reading something awhile back (like a year or two ago) about a lot of people complaining about this and Toyota insisted they were nuts. Now they are gonna have a metric fuckton of lawsuits since they didn't respond in a timely manner. Good - cuz Toyota's are shit anyway. They made their rep back in the 80's when they were the most reliable car on the road and they've been living off of that rep ever since then.
