Its from a guy on the Dnforum, he's got no trader history. He wants to transfer the domain to me (because i have good trader rating) and then have me paypal him after. Is there anyway i can get screwed doing it this way. I wanted to use escrow.com, but he doesnt want to. even though i said i would pay the fees. Im paying over $600 for the domain so i dont really want to loose it. Does this sound safe to you guys?

Tell him that you're not interested unless you go via escrow. If you're paying the fees, what's the problem?

There is no reason for him to not want to do an escrow unless he is trying to scam you.

i read about people getting scammed on that board all the time. He wasnt totally agaisnt escrow, but keeps trying to talk me out of it. Im gonna insist on escrow, thanks

???
He wants to transfer first and you don't agree?
Where is the problem?
Just send him the usual contract for signature, wait for the answer and pay.

You're lucky. In general you have to pay before. If you're suspicious and the price is high, just ask him to include a copy of his identity card. Remember: he is taking the risk, not you.
