I'm an old school imer trying new shit. I'm doing SEO on a wordpress blog.

Good news:

I got the keyword in the domain with a .org. Threw up wordpress without adding ANY content and hit #14 within 2 weeks. This was in early-mid january.

So I noticed that and decided to go all out and get my shit ranked at #1,2 or 3. I haven't done any bookmarking, videos or anything. 0 backlinks whatsoever.

I just put in content and noticed my site rank went up to #13 lolzy.

Bad news:

There are like several "whales" in the keyword I'm targeting. These are very large sites that span through many many keywords.

Gut Feeling:

I think I can beat them. I have wordpress comment spammers on guard + directory submission + social book marking and articles. I really feel like I might be able to rank high.

Help a nigga out: what do I need to do? All the content is now up and honestly I don't think anyone except the virgin mary or jesus himself could have done a better job.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

well, at least you don't lack for confidence.. Spend a few dollars and submit to real directories (Yahoo, BOTW, etc). Write a couple articles with backlinks to sub-pages of the site, and post them on EzineArticles. Search "keyword term+ blog" and drop a couple relevant comments in the top results with a URL linkback. Install an Analytics package on the domain and see what long-tail keyterms are referring any traffic. Target those for your next comment drops. Rinse, lather, repeat.

If you sell cocaine should you no very rich? Unless you waste all money make on sell cocaine for buy cocaine for self take. Then that no good.
