OK... I've got 100 MFA websites out on the net. The sitemaps are submitted, I've got a paragraph of text that changes, blah blah blah. Started this 60 days ago...

But VERY little traffic. Like... 5 hits a day TOTAL. :( and then, the damn clicks pay like $0.03 each.

Is this because a) I need to promo each of those websites, b) I chose a crappy niche (weddings), c) somehow I'm being penalized by the great and all powerful G, d) i'm a moron.

Well, one of the above is certainly true.

Any thoughts? Comments? Flames?

Many thanks in advance.

Ok, you really are ignorant. Time and time again, it is said all over this board.

Start SMALL (no more than 5 sites is small to me). Get those 5 sites making money using lots of testing and trials. THEN and ONLY THEN should you expand to 100.

A site that sucks made 10,000 times will still suck!

OK... grant that. Secondary question...

Is there a natural click rate on an indexed website?

By that I mean, ok... crappy site... listed SOMEWHERE in the index... statisticly, would I expect 1 or 2 clicks a month as a random occurance?

Kind of the "cosmic ray" or "background radiation" rate of hits?

I don't care if this guy has 5 or 100 sites, hes not gonna make money if he doesn't get some links............Shoot for 150 per site......do not interlink all your site either.......especially if they are on the same c-block

Natural click rate on an indexed website? You seem to believe that all websites were created equal in Google's eyes. Well, that is not the case.

You should focus on getting links to a few of them, and then work on the rest. When you don't really know what you are doing, it isn't real smart to start with 100 websites. But now that you have them, get links to them! That will help them with Google. Hopefully they don't consist of a bunch of duplicate content or that will make things even worse.

Next start by doing keyword & niche research otherwise you'll end up wasting time chasing the wind.
