I'm sorry, there will be no more new movies



I just watched the newest Karate Kid with Will Smiths kid and Jackie Chan. I was totally expecting a cool new plot, action scenes, etc. and it was literally a fucking remake of the original. SOOOOooOoo bad man I was predicting every other scene and getting irritated. Such a good cast (well Chan/choreography potential) gone to waste on a story you can't improve/refix. 'wax on wax off' became 'hang up jacket, throw it down, put in on, take it off'. 'Danielson' became 'ShauDre' - final tournament broken leg cool kick at the end and all - fuck Hollywood right now.

it was made for little 12 yr old kids who never saw the original because they were not born yet.

My 8 yr old girl was amazed by it, couldnt stop watching it, even woke up 3am on a school night and sneaked into the living room to watch it, I found her sleeping on the floor the next morning.

I predicted every scene also but still the action with special effects was kick @$$ and scenery in china was beautiful. I especially liked when jackie chan beat the sh*t out of the little boys in the valley -thats what Ill be doing soon when knuckleheads start chasing my daughter around.

My mind was absolutely blown with Avatar in 3D. Star Wars (which Lucas was inspired by Avatar) might leave me paralyzed.

yeah right... avatar was shot in 3D so what your gonna see is a big fucking gimmick from lucas. Avatar cost 300 mill or more to make. George lucas probably wouldn't spend over 10-20 million dollars. And it would be some lame ass piranha 3d effects.

What? Since when did Lucas become synonymous in your eyes as "cheap?" I don't see this happening...
