Yes he is the founder, but the owner of the Mega sites is a record label exec. Guess who's not being charged with anything or even being mentioned by the media?

In a different article, I did read that it was said he was the CEO but not officially...

UPDATE 2: So, even though the MegaUpload site did list him as CEO (before the site got Fed’d), he was not actually appointed the title, reports Venture Beat. He apparently was only in negotiations to take the helm, according to MegaUpload’s lawyer. Well.

Just another dumb criminal that got greedy. What else is new. You'd think after he got busted for his previous crimes he would have quit while he was ahead. Some people are just plain stupid. They are going to make an example out of him in a big way. That fucker is gonna rot in jail for a long time given his previous criminal record.

I remember this guy back when he used to act like an ass on the Porsche and Lambo boards, and at the Gumball rallies, etc. My how times have changed. I wonder if his ballin' lifestyle for the past handful of years was worth the ass raping he's gonna get...
 
not sure if this has been brought up, but they were only days away from releasing a revolutional music platform for artists to make money off of free music. Hmmm....
 
took his eye off the ball, spent all day playing cod4 when he should have been dealing with lawyers to cover his ass.

oh well, at least he didn't wast his life playing skyrim.
 
his k/d ratio is only like 2:1 hes not the best cod player he just has more time logged than anyone. im willing to bet he has staff that played under his account 24/7
 
I agree had he stopped playing video games then he would not be in his current situation.
 
Pretty crazy this went down here. I'm surprised he lived here doing what he did, all of the nuclear issues aside we're pretty snug with the US... real snug
