improving trafic and clicks

hello fellas, well this is my first post here, and i would like to ask you guys what is the best way to get a traffic to my blog, well i am crossing all 50 states in USA(i am foreign) with a small budget, i put some ads of google adsense , but i would like also sugestions to make more profitable this blog, thanks.

Who are you targeting with the blog? Who do you think would enjoy reading it? That'll tell you where to find readers - aka traffic. Once you know where they are, then you can attract them. For example, is you blog for your fellow countrymen so that they can learn about the US and traveling here? Then you can write posts that mean something to them and drive traffic by commenting on similar travel blogs.

I'll be honest. If this is just a journal of your trip, you're not going to get a lot of readers (it takes a long time to build an audience) and you'll make almost no money (folks won't click on the type of AdSense ads that will likely be displayed).
