Inability To Create A Youtube Channel?

So I just registered a fresh gmail account to synchronize all my social media accounts, only Youtube won't let me create a channel. Anyone have the solution to this problem?

You need to explain this more. What do you mean Youtube won't let you create a channel- what does it say?

When I click "create a channel", the box doesn't load. I just get a blank screen, but if I log in from an older Gmail account there is no problem.

Edit: Just tried to create the channel again, works. Don't know why it wasn't letting me create a channel earlier, perhaps the age of the email account?
