Antigua Government Set to Launch “Pirate” Website To Punish United States | TorrentFreak

The Government of Antigua is planning to launch a website selling movies, music and software, without paying U.S. copyright holders. The Caribbean island is taking the unprecedented step because the United States refuses to lift a trade “blockade” preventing the island from offering Internet gambling services, despite several WTO decisions in Antigua’s favor. The country now hopes to recoup some of the lost income through a WTO approved “warez” site.

Oh yeah, this will definitely end well...

the US has done everything it could, heavy-handed out of the gate. antigua's response is perfect: "call us rogue on BS? fuck you, we'll be what you labelled us & go full rogue". what is the US going to do, attack antigua? LOL.

the US shot its load. there's nothing more it can do.

heh, yeah, i think the US will refrain from a military attack on antigua over copyrights. its laughable.

An attack can come in many forms. What's laughable is you thinking this would ever be allowed to happen by the US. remember who gets a piece of those sales.

Now hopefully this will help get the US to end its corrupt stance on online gambling.

there's alot of sharp guys here of WF, so i'll assume you're one of em & may know more on this subject than me. so help me understand this...

having already imposed full trade sanctions on antigua, what other non-military attacks do you think the US can/will engage?
