Uuurg, I refreshed like 200 times and didn't see it. I wanted to find that topic BYA started "content sites" or something, but the vBulletin search sucks. Chris posted about what ad company he uses on course-notes..

Yah- I love those Staples banners :) Not only do they look sweet, they pay damn good too :)

Funny thing is I was going to mention their campaign when I saw the thread title but then I realized it was about their campaign already haha

Here is a screenshot of the ad in action for those of you who can't see it for whatever reason:

And here is the thread that chatmasta was talking about:

http://www.wickedfire.com/shooting-shit/12442-who-here-actually-runs-long-term-content-websites.html

You'll see towards the middle of the first page of the thread I start talking about Gorilla Nation (the ad representation company that I use). I also include some screen shots of other cool advertising integration into websites. Overall, that thread turned out a lot better than I expected it to and theres a lot of good knowledge shared in there.

Also, my advertising rep is pitching my site out to Clinique, Sony Pictures (their new movie Feel the Noise), Barbizon Modeling and Acting, MTV Network (Laguna Beach/Newport Harbor Season 4), New Line Cinema (their new movie Mr. Woodcock which actually looks kind of funny haha), and apparently a new campaign for Legally Blonde - I'm not sure what the campaign would be for unless they are having another sequel to that movie.
I just wrapped up a campaign for the movie Hairspray too :)

CLKeenan not to piss in your corn flakes but alot of your content is copied directly from textbooks (I recall some of it since I read some of these same textbooks in HS)

whats up wit dat kid

I don't eat cornflakes, so I guess it sucks for whoever's cornflakes you pissed in thinking they were mine.

I didn't write the outlines, I only have permission to post them on my website while giving credit to the original author who wrote them. Which subjects are you referring to? Some of the resources on the site are created by the textbook publishers themselves and I have permission to use them on my site so durhhhh of course they are similar to the actual textbook themselves.

Thanks for your concern though.

Now now don't act like a smart ass to me I was just genuinely concerned for any copyright issues you might face, its just the common user on your site isn't in your head KNOWING you have permission to use text from the books (unless of course you stated it on your site but I don't see it).
