I'm surprised it news to anyone as well, but it really doesn't matter if they only make a few hundred bucks from it. Why should they get away with what any other citizen would be labeled a CRIMINAL over? Human rulers will always be corrupt. ALWAYS.

This is about as clear-cut as any case of abuse of power could ever be. Time for #Occupy to add on one more goal...

I think the real issue is that you and I would go to prison for it - even if it was only for a couple hundred thousand.

That is the precise issue. I have not seen an abuse of power more clear cut than this. At one time I worked for lobbyists and even then we had to at least keep up appearances.

This is an incredible story that is barely getting any exposure, frankly I am amazed it was reported on at all.

For those that say this is "old news" - you already knew of this precise issue or about corruption in general? I have never heard of this precise issue prior to this report.
