Inter-Linking Keyword Domains Best Practice

Assuming you only have time/money to invest in 1 domain, but that you registered a few others ( lets say 2 to 5 others ) keyword domains, how would you manage them ?

All of them would be hosted on the same IP ... so, what can be done ? link all of the keyword domain to the main site ? or link all of the keyword domains between them, and have only 1 link to the main domain ?

I was linking having each of the unused domain with 1 article of about 400 words, then have them link to deep links of the main domain but to not inter link the unused domains between them ?

Regardless its not going to help one way or the other since they are probably all low PR sites and they are on the same IP.

I would link all of them to the master site though.
