Interesting Ad Placement.

If you look just below the horizontal menu, you'll notice three boxes each with a image and text below it. The middle one contains a well placed advertisement. I didn't notice it at first.

I think the click through would be pretty high on that single ad as the blue border made me look at the center box first.

What do you think?

Oh, in addition.. colbert and jon stewart clips get to the front page of digg religiously.. so with that steady stream of traffic and that well placed advertisement..

He should be doing pretty well
 


if it would be blendedm#, it might have even better CTR.
However, the current colour could serve as "highlighting" and have people click on what they think is a "highlight".

Nice, either way.

He's using the FlickScript, made by Greg-J and Sammo. I have a site like that myself...das how I got banned from Adsense....but it was all my fault.

Each video on my site had a rating, my site was a little different from his, it had the same ad placement as the top, but I also had 2 half banner ads where the videos are listed with their thumbnail.

Wellz to make it short I had rating stars above my ads which made them look like videos and got busted for "invaild clicks" because a lot of people were clicking on it in mistake of a video.

I'm in a process to get my Adsense account reinstated for I believe they weren't "invaild click", but its gonna be a tough one!
 
Attach is the screen shot of my site...with the same top ad and the video ad on the bottom.

I'm using Bidvertiser as of right now because of the bann. You can see for yourself that Bidvertiser sucks with revelant ads!!

Been trying to get into YPN but my site has adult-content, maybe I'll try another site see if that works.

Is YPN any good compared to Adsense?
 
Each has its own perks, at the end of an average day both my adsense and YPN account look about the same, but there are those days that I might make a shit load more with YPN over Adsense and vice versa.
 
That might just be teetering on the edge of the Adsense TOS. And I'm kind of suspicious of his plea for funds due to hundreds of gigs in bandwidth being used...

Nice placement..

I dont think it violates the TOS because their is a border around it, and i saw his site featured on digg wouldn't doubt if he went over his bw limit.. but waht do i know :rasta:
