Firefox is taking over the world! Maybe not really, but anyhow here are some statistics from my site xonium.net over the latest week. Most visitors are "photoshop people" and come from sites like good-tutorials.com. Those may of course be quite geeky (like we all are here right? :P) and therefore these stats. But anyway, if you are making a photoshop site, these stats are for you :D

Firefox 50,95%
Internet Explorer 32,63%
Opera 10,95%
Safari 3,37%
Mozilla 1,05%
Netscape 0,42%

Windows 94,13%
Macintosh 5,40%

Resolution stats are scary as always! aargh
1024x768 45,29%
1280x1024 26,70%
1152x864 7,17% (learn to use this at least!)
800x600 4,93%

Nice :338: , but how do google analytics get those stats? O_o
Cable/DSL 75,36%
Unknown 12,21%
Dialup 9,02%

Like you said, your site is geared towards tech savvy people, thats the reason for those numbers. Here are numbers from one of my "non tech savvy" sites:

Msie 6.0: 70.1 %
Msie 4.0: 2.8 %
Firefox 1.5.0.5: 10 %
Firefox 1.0.7: 1.7 %
Safari: 4.3 %
Mozilla: 2.5 %

Wow John your stats are extremely low for FireFox. Here are some stats for my tablature site for the past month:

MS Internet Explorer No 231165 69.4 %

Firefox No 78052 23.4 %

Safari No 10244 3 %

Opera No 5274 1.5 %

Unknown ? 3538 1 %

Netscape No 2506 0.7 %

Mozilla No 1518 0.4 %

Designing for both with pure CSS is a real bitch, but once you get it to work it's totally worth it. I hope FireFox will get majority soon here, I've been spreading the work to non-tech savvy people ever since the thing came out.

This is from one of my biggest sites over the past week, non-tech:
IE 63.62%
FireFox 31.31%
Opera 1.54%
Safari 1.20%
Netscape 1.07%

From WebPublishingBlog:

IE 49.21%
Firefox 44.74%
Safari 3.27%
Opera 1.79%
Mozilla 0.60%
