So as my first AM attempt, I signed up with cardoffers.com and have been promoting creditcards via Overture. Until yesterday I had had absolutely no activity, a lot of clicks/views, but not follow though/CPA actions.

Anyway, I was getting a little bit discouraged then I got this:
Dear Chase: I have been unable to access any website for claiming points on my rewards card. There is no location on your website for making such a claim, your phone access is not available, as it has been in the past, and I wish to claim my cash - as you advertise again and again.
Please review my account and allow me the $25 cash reward I am certainly entitled to with a points balance of 4759 in account no. **** **** **** **** and advise me of your mailing date when this is issued due to delivery problems with my local post office. Also please advise how I should make such another attempt in the future - I have found it impossible at present.

I emailed both of them, saying I was not actually the credit card company, I only promote their credit cards, and they need to check the official websites for support info.

Didn't ever think people would use the "Contact Us" page I set up, just added it cause the sidebar on my wordpress blog looked naked.

So, I hope you get a laugh out of this, and maybe a clever way to turn it into a credit card application/approval.

EDIT: I just checked my CCoffers.com, made my first profit, $45! Only spent $15 on clicks so far! Hell yeah!

I had a site showing danish tv-listings for a couple of years. You wouldn't believe what kind of things people emailed me.

One guy send me an email complaining that the ball in a tennismatch was almost the same color as the ground and therefor hard to see on the screen. I don't know what he thought I could do about it.

And of course there was the countless email asking if they could get this or that show on tape.

I have everything set up on a wordpress blog. When you go to the index page, you are shown a search box, that you can search credit cards with.

I'm testing a few different ads right now. I have two that take you to landing pages which have a javascript that includes info/pic/apply button for the credit card.

I also have one ad, that I created a few days ago, that takes the user directly to my affiliate link. I've had about the same results with all of the methods.

I'm only promoting like 5 credit cards right now, when I finally get off my ass, I'm going to import their entire database as well as begin to create my own tracking program, since awstats isnt really giving me anything but keywords.
