Iphone App - In App Browser Question

Question for all you geniuses.

If i'm using an app like pandora, and I click an ad, the website loads within the Pandora app. Does anyone know what browser or API they would be using to do this? I'm trying to figure out if the in-app browser triggers javascript on the page for actions like triggering analytics, etc. Thanks
