iPhone fart app pulls in $10,000 a day

Why bother with cumbersome keyword lists, cloaking links, writing content, or IMing your affiliate manager incessantly when you could just be coding an application that produces fart noises on an iPhone ...to the tune of $10k/day after Apple's cut?

In fact, yesterday it hit the number one overall position with over 13,000 downloads. Macrumors ran the numbers, factoring out the 30 percent cut Apple takes from each sale, and determined that, yesterday alone, iFart Mobile made its developers $9,198.

Story here. Kudos to them for thinking outside the box... who knew the electronic whoopie cushion market was so lucrative?

my brother told me about this, i said BS! I checked out Joel Comm's site and freaked out i knew he had been working on this, and i imagine he paid very little for the dev work. but damn it what a great idea - not a big surprise Joel has done it before and will do it again.
