I had spend times to analyze report from CJ on previous month and current month. I just found varies in conversion rate. The lowest conversion rate is around 0.5% - 1.2% and the highest conversion rate is around 3.69% - 3.89%. I think it is too low in my opinion but I don't know if other peoples got lower conversion rate than me. Is there anyone get more than 10% conversion rate?

I am trying to make sales as steady because my sales has never been steady. Some day I got 4 - 6 sales from 25% lower traffic amount compared to previous day, some day I got 0 sale even my traffics increased around 50%. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you :D

Tracking, tracking, tracking. Look for cycles in the traffic patterns. Lower conversion rates on weekends? Daytime? Night time? Middle of the week?
You'll be amazed how many patterns jump out at you.
Then look at keywords. For example "quit smoking statistics" would convert much worse than "quit smoking products" or "quit smoking pills". Start to look for common words that lead to no conversions, and blacklist those bitches.

As for conversion rates, it's all over the map man. What matters is that it's profitable. For example, if you're running an e-mail submit that converts at 1%, that's pretty shitty. Now if you're selling cars or houses, that's ridiculously good.

Don't worry about flat conversion rates. What matters is Avg. EPC-Acg. CPC

Just depends what you are trying to sell. Leads are going to have much higher conversions as opposed to something the consumer has to pull out a credit card for.

As already mentioned, testing is the key and as long as you are making a profit it's all good ;)

Depends on how you get traffic. If you are paying per click, then you want your EPC you see in your affiliate companies stats higher than CPC for Google/Adwords or whatever you are using. If it is free/organic traffic, then as long as you are getting conversions it is worth it. I would rather have 100 sites that only convert like once a day, than 1 decent site. If the traffic is free, then you aren't out anything. But that also doesn't mean to not tweak it. Test and tweak your keywords and everything. Why not make the best of it?

Conversion rate on its own is a useless metric. Imagine I gave you an algebraic equation that looked like this:

= 1.72

Wtf is that? If I'm selling cars, I'll take that 1.2% conversion rate and retire early.
