is Apple Maps even accurate?

just updated my iphone and realized my beloved Google maps has been switched for Apple maps.. took a first glance at it and the first thing I noticed is that there is a small bridge that connects my city to a small island (walking only bridge) that is not even there. It was there on Google maps.

Also I dont see the option to select walking or public transit when doing directions.. what the fuck guys? what the fuck is this?

Accurate maps are too mainstream.

They are not accurate. And the internal parsing engine is idiotic. It parses my street as such:

"123 Streetname Private" into "Private St" ... I drove home once for extra 20 minutes. Stopped using it since then, and went back to my trusted Navigon app.

The new maps are bigger yet at the same time smaller. #ilost
