All I see now are people talking about pages and fanpage likes and all that jazz. Doesn't seem to be a lot of discussion on Facebook PPC anymore. I recently decided to jump back into it and failed miserably. Wish I could go back to Flirt Facebook app days and dat der 35% conversion rate.

I just got a FB ad account a week ago. I'm probably gonna hurt myself.
I have no idea what I'm doing.

I'm sure you gotta tweak it just right to make some money.

Scale into new verticals and be creative with your offers, I've had gaming campaigns running profitable for months on end now.

Seasonal/holiday offers seemed to work well too, get on ya valentines hustle homie

Not dead but as with any paid method you have to hang in there long enough till you can make it convert.

Still trying with one ad. CTR is good, but im having a hard time getting them to purchase. Think I am getting the wrong audience.

You need the right offers at the right payouts. If you have them and your not brain dead ... you can still kill it on FB. The problem is that most AM's we'll try and jam an offer down your throat that is "social" approved and the payout is so fuckin shit that your dead in the water before you even try it. Know your market, know what payouts work, and test everything that falls within this margin. That is how you kill it.

The fan pages might be free, but it still takes work to build a list and get your site out there. I'm thinking about going the Facebook ad route myself. There just isn't time to do everything with free marketing.

I dont even know what to do with my facebook accounts. i got a few with 5k+ spend but IDK how to get the ads approved

What do you mean you have a few with 5k+ to spend? You mean a balance? FB doesn't support prepaid balances. They bill after. Getting FB ads approved is not too difficult. Though FB is not nearly my main traffic provider, I do run several campaigns with them still.

Facebook ads is not dead but it doesn't work like it does before. The number of Facebook users is growing significantly. You should use it like you should for 2012. Think outside the box.
