Is google switching its data centers back

I stopped getting the new Google search. Is the old one coming back or whats up. No more cartoon searches or what? I thought all the data centers were switched.

I did a search yesterday before I made the post and it looked like the old search prior to the stupid cartoon crap. I was not logged in. I cleared my browser and searched again and it was the same. Now I cant get it to do it this morning. Maybe it was a fluke or something. I don't know. I posted to see if maybe it happened to someone else. How hard is that to understand.

I only saw the new bing style search for one day. Haven't seen it since. Good. Leave the weak imitations to Yawho?

Oh that's been there for me for a while, but only if I choose. I only notice a difference if I hover over the bottom left of the page, where a link pops up saying "Change background?"
