Is PPC or SEO Better?

When it comes to promoting offers what do you think is the better way to go ppc or seo?

My friend told me seo was a pretty good way to go but then again i hear alot about ppc, so i wonder?

PPC = fast results, more monitoring, need some start up cash (altho coupons can take you quite far)
SEO = slow as fuck results, but longetivity, passive, serious compounding effect.

Most people say SEO --> PPC if you're low on funds.

My impatience triumphs my cheapness, so I go PPC ---> SEO.

Try both and see what works.
 
It actually depends on the need. But SEO no doubt is any day better. PPC works best for new sites if you want quick result. But SEO is long term.
 
For what purpose? I mean, to generally promote your site/service or for new and current offers?

Building quality sites that rank is a good idea for building a foundation for your business, and promoting the sites via PPC is a dumb idea. On the other hand, depending on search- and word of mouth traffic for a new or limited opportunity is also a dumb idea, and it is in this vein that PPC advertising's strengths really come out.

Haha, good luck with that. What will happen if offer will be just put down ? You did all that great long-term SEO for monthes and years and one day all fall down, with PPC you can simply delete campaign and immediately start another.
 
Crack or Meth...which is better. Both have their own benefits. You decide.
