Yes, and yes. Very lucrative if you know how to go about it.

But then again, that could be said for any niche online. Just a heads up.
 
Yeah it can go pretty well, defiantly a market for it. Keep it from getting overly saturated and I think its good.
 
Depends on the games, and how it's being monetized...

I've seen some sites that do a piss poor job of it, but still do ok because they've got a good selection of games.

From what I've seen, NES/SNES/MasterSystem roms that are playable online, and Flash remakes of oldschool arcade games, like Raiden, seem to attract people nicely.
