Hey guys,

I am looking at a few companies to promote that allow you to download their catalog in CSV... The file contains the standard product into, categories, etc.. along with references to thumbnails and everthing...

Before I go and spend hours on trying to code my own site to use the database, I figured I would ask everyone here for an easier alternative...

Doing a google search for "shopping cart software csv import" I see that there is such things available...

Anyone have any experience with the best way to utilize this data rather? It seems like this would be a much more effective thing to use rather than banners...

am I wrong here? or would this be too much wheel spinning...

Yeah. I think what you're talking about are datafeeds. I have an older php script that allows these datafeeds to be pulled into a WP based site. If you're interested, you can have a copy.
