Somewhere I read that censors in India are really strict about stuff like kissing on TV shows, although it may be implied with some crafty camera angles; anything beyond that is banned, assuming it is between a man and a woman.
(At least, at the time I read it) There were no rules in place banning graphic depictions of gay sex, though.

Yes, it is. As is kissing in Public or having sex without being married. Guess what, if you go straight according to law, even blowjobs and any other sexual position apart from missionary is illegal here.
But with a billion plus population and zillions of court cases -- about far more important things like rape, human trafficking, murders, robberies etc. for police to give a shit about me kissing a girl or getting a blowjob in my room...

there are no restrictions on porn as has been mentioned here, everything is available in the Internet anyways.

There are HUGE FUCKING RESTRICTIONS on Porn. Just take a look at Indian IT Act 2001 and find the part about transmission of pornographic material. Remember how the last BJP even banned FTV considering it pornographic. So seriously, know what you are talking about before you post.
