For the past two days or so, whenever I start a new campaign, it always estimates that I'll get zero impressions or clicks. The first time or two I figured "whatever, it's Yahoo being fucked, there's no way these keywords would get zero" but it turns out they did.

So I tried a couple new campaigns with thousands of keywords, including the very broad ones, advanced match, and bid the max recommeneded amount.

Still nothing.

Stats are up to date, my account has money in it and all the ads and keywords are showing active.

I really don't have a fucking clue what's going on, is this happening to anyone else?

edit: I should add that one of those campaigns I duplicated all the keywords from a campaign I ran with YSM up to about a week ago that was getting hundreds of clicks per day.

Call them. They have always been quick to answer and quick to help. They don't always give me the answers I want, but at least the pick up on the first couple rings.

Awesome.... Well, there goes my "Yahoo support is good" blahdee blah blah speech.

Sorry man, I have not experienced that before and I have been using them since they moved from their previous platform about 3 years ago.

Is it possible somewhere up your family tree a relative pissed of a witch doctor and you are just doomed?

Haha thanks, I'm thinking that might be it. Unpaused an old campaign that did get traffic before to see if that one still gets traffic or not.

O Shit, you are fucked!

In such a case, why not open a new account and see if that helps. Find a coupon and sign up with the same data (I think it's not against their TOS to do that, but even encouraged if you pursue more than one market?). Copy-paste the ads and see if you have better results.

I'm not saying this out of nowhere, but knowing how sometimes in gazillions of lines of code of an application there might be some sort of bug that is affecting your current account. Trust me, it's rather easy to overlook 1 line of code in a large application such as the YSM interface. And EVERY application has its bugs - it's in the nature of coding.

The support crew are not the developers and don't know anything about such issues. So, I'd simply try opening a new account with one of the $199 coupons found around here somewhere, and see how it turns out. You have nothing to lose, but only to gain.

Yeah, I've just done that. I have three accounts for different markets, and this is only affecting my UK account. The US/Canada and Australia/NZ ones are fine.
