ISIS ATTACK IN AUSTRALIA COFFEE SHOP

So... is it time to turn the entire Middle East into a glass plate yet, or should we wait a little longer?

Not a ton of media coverage, I wonder if that's decided by the political interest in the attackers locations? I feel like if this had happened in the U.S we would all know about it.

It's because apparently, in Australia security and safety of humans takes precedent over making headlines.

That, and they don't want to give this guy the time of day, which I'm assuming he was hoping for. He wanted his 15 minutes of fame, but fuck him, he ain't getting it. Kudos to Australian authorities for doing that.

It is exactly that. Police have asked Channel 7 to turn their cameras away from the front of the Martin Place cafe. Ain't giving this guy any publicity, so he archives nothing, while police come out with a plan.

Here in Australia it's on every single channel with rolling coverage, live streaming online & trending nationally both on Twitter & Facebook. We don't have this sort of thing happening regularly so it's getting a lot of coverage.

With about 1 minute worth of footage, played over and over and over and over...

and CNN is publishing demands that the Australian media were told not to lol.

This is true. But there is very little to no real information coming out (from authorities), and I expect that to be the case until this situation is "resolved".

That's all fine and dandy, buy why the fuck would they report this?

BBC News - Sydney siege: Hostage texts mum to say 'I'm OK'

Make sure you report in the media that one of the hostages has a phone on him. Good job everyone!

Yes let the empire kill more of their women and children then the violence will surely stop and then the US will close down its 800 or so military bases around the world.

These guys kill way more of their own kind than they do us or than we do. The situation is complicated but your dealing with drug dealers, rapists, pimps and murderers; not some force of freedom fighters.

At least our scumbags leave behind a few roads and buildings when we're done fucking people over.

Well that's one more piece of shit who gets to meet allah.

Video of part of the raid here...flashbanged the shit out of him.
