I just had a heart attack twice because I realized that.....

1. If I could have inline content links that showed up automatically and linked to my affiliate products + my own product sales page, I could increase sales by a good margin.

2. I've already done this in my vbulletin forums, but how can I do it on the main content pages of my site?

I'm not quite brilliant.... at all... at programming, so that's me out of the game here.

Anyone care to share/refer a script?

Thanks!

You said you have already done this. Is that a feature of vbulletin then or what?

I don't know any script for this that you host yourself and set your own links with.

I have already done it in vBulletin, but it was with a script called Geek Auto Linker. But for my main part of the site i'm using a CMS and I have lots of articles, etc. So I'm looking to have something similar where I can define the keywords to be linked, and the URLS they will link to, and when a page is viewed by a user, it will query the database to check for keywords to link..

Obviously this could get slow but since articles aren't edited all the time, it could be cached without problem.

Anyone doing this?

Not exactly, but what you're talking about reminded me of a WP plugin I used before. You could tell it what stock tickers you were going to be using on your site and then every time you made a post it would parse out those tickers and make them links to real-time stock info.

What CMS are you using? If it's WP I would start with that. If it's something else I would see if there is a similar stock ticker plugin for your CMS.

*puts on flamesuit* I'm using Subdreamer.... Had it since the days I didn't know better. I wish I was using Drupal, to be honest.
