Its Vegas Baby!

honestly thats not to bad at all considering a lot of homeless people sleep on the streets in cardboard boxes. they got a pretty good setup i'd say and they said they sometimes find 500$ or more in unplayed credits on slot machines and stuff? There better off than 99% of homeless people.

Though they may be "better off" (if we can even say that) than other homeless people... i LOL'd hard when you said "that's not to bad at all". Me for one, would not even want to spend a night down there.

Did you even read why they are down there?

Keep in mind as well, there are people here in baltimore that sleep in a cardboard box on the side of the street, hoping that the vent turns on that night for heat.

They have it a tad bit better, in comparison.

Rather than working in the bars or kitchens they "credit hustle", prowling the casinos searching the fruit machines for money or credits left by drunken gamblers.

they deserve it.

Good article. I don't care who you are, it's difficult not to feel for those people at least a little. Drug and alcohol addictions aside, they're still human beings who are obviously living a tough life. And while the rest of us work hard and have all of our nice things, at least for me, I'd like to see them get some help and into a better situation.

I actually watched this entire video on the news about it last night. It was crazy - they had to go like half a mile into the tunnels before they reached the "housing."

The dude rode his bike through the pitch black tunnels with no light because he knows it all pretty well.

Honestly, of all homeless places to live, it seems like one of the nicest. Climate controlled (underground), shelter from wind, no police want to go in there... It's a great place minus the not being able to see and possible drowning when it rains.

That's a pretty fucking bad ass setup, compared to sleeping on the sidewalk. Not to mention, the ones mentioned in the article were in relationships so they're not lonely either.

Although it probably sucks when it rains a lot... lol

I think the black widow spiders crawling around would be a nightmare for me. I detest spiders anyway, but sleeping around black widows? But, I'm sure thats the least of your problems when you're forced in there. Great read!

I really thought this was going to be the Affiliate Summit/Las Vegas first thread. None of the pictures are in the least bit shocking. I have seen as bad in Los Angeles and NY before they started hustling the homeless off the streets. You used to have to step over them on the sidewalk.
