It's Wednesday, what is the biggest thing you did for your business this week?

I watched Vacancy, Shooter and Jeepers Creepers. I'm waiting for inspiration to hit me.

dude your quote... lol

Anyways, I actually redid one of my sites entirely and paid to have a new back office and tracking system developed for my clients that they can actually log into.

Why did I do this?

Here's something I figured out (hopefully not too late):

I'm making money with a system I have in place, but 90% of my clients aren't repeating business.

So I'm spending money on every fucking client I pick up in this particular business.

ouch.

So, I think this move will create stickiness to keep the customers coming back to the site and repeating orders.

Long winded? ya... maybe I'm justifying the spend to myself.

I'll let you know how it turns out.

I started doing a shitload of off-site SEO on two of my major sites...again...second time this week...argh!

I also sent my resume to maybe 15-20 companies looking for a summer job. If you are hiring, send me a PM! :)

I did some work to a campaign in Adcenter so my ads would show up again...Ive now had a few leads toda already...(Thanks diorex)

Im working on my personal site for my web design/programming biz...

Decided that I dont like the new layout I did for getCredit365.Net - Any opinions appreciated...

Old: Online Credit Card Applications - Browse our Credit Card Offers
New: Online Credit Card Applications - Browse our Credit Card Offers
New Interior: Business Credit Cards - Online Credit Card Applications

Worked on getting backlinks to 3 of my sites... DigiXMas is worth the $10 per a site by the way...

I think it looks super professional and the old design wasn't too shabby. The mirrored effect on the logo looks sweet too. What affiliate are you using for all those credit card offers?

The best thing I did for my biz was going surfing with some investor friends and then pitching an idea in between waves. I then tentatively secured funding to franchise my business over a breakfast of steak and eggs.

I took a step back and tried to relax, I hate working, I hate my desk job as a developer, and I started thinking about what I need to do to go freelance.

I also pissed away a small amount of money messing around with AM, but I don't think it's my thing.

Worked on securing some clients for a few freelance projects. Started up my first AM campaign (not going well). Tried out the SQUIRT tool and documenting the results (good so far). And working with creating a new site that I think a lot of you guys will enjoy. Its a secret though :)

I redesigned two websites, and am working on backlink building for three sites I'm actively trying to build up. Also putting plans together for 2 new money making ideas I learned here.

Blue, you trying to freelance? If your rates are good I always need some fuckin php work.

I'm looking for a reliable programmer too. If you are wanted to I think you'd find a lot of clients here.

This week I have mostly been working on the design of a new site and learning bits of php as I go, and tweaking (or maybe fucking up :love-smiley-085:) campaigns.
