I'm so fucking horny for this right now I can't wait for it to come out if it ever does. Supposed to be released next month.

I was betting the new Fleshlight was coming out from the title. I was wrong.

Personally, I prefer a laptop to be, well, a laptop. Something I can easily lug around. Duel monitors are for home in my opinion.

Yeah, that's cool. Not gonna lie though I was expecting something cooler after reading the thread title.

The Spacebook was designed to help you get more done in a mobile environment. The 15.4-inch Spacebook weighs 8.7 lbs.

Spacebook planned Options at launch: 16-inch and/or 17-inch

8.7 pounds for the 15.4-incher. That would make the 17-incher, what, eleven pounds, give or take a few ounces? If I wanted something that would crush my lap once set on top, I would find my cat. Laptops are supposed to be for portability. I'm sure you can take the same price and buy a desktop with twice the power or more.

I mean, it's a cool idea and all, I just don't see where the portability comes into play, especially with the hour long battery life. Of course, I can see me walking into the campus Starbucks with this under my arm (sweating under the unnecessary weight), open it up and dual-screen it, plugging it in obviously. That should get a few looks.

But if I wanted to spend a ton of money for a quality laptop, I'd either get a Macbook Pro, or one of those nice-looking VooDoo PC laptops. Mmm.

Now that's a cool idea! I'd definitely be worried about breaking off the screens. Since there are more movable parts something is bound to give out faster and it's probably easier to break.

It is hard to work without dual screen when I'm out with the laptop so I see the advantage of the duals. I'm sure in a few years this will probably be perfected and will be an option from all the manufacturers. Who can live without dual monitors these days?

This laptop at 11 lbs is like a dell mini to him. He can probly carry it around between his index finger and thumb.

Admit it HeavyT, you got a screen fetish.

On a side note, looks cool as a desktop replacement ... but as a everyday laptop to go, not really.

you definately have a monitor fetish. I just saw your current setup and i think it looks way cooler

that is just too cool!

The one thing I don't like about laptops is only 1 screen unless I lug around a second screen and hook it up, which is just unrealistic.

Man, I can't believe this wasn't invented earlier.

And don't worry, soon they will come down in price, weight and size. I know there are a lot of us that get horny looking at it!
