You know the funniest thing about that thread

Jon said:
I have said over and over, that I never said I thought WF was worth what they valued it at. It's like Yahoo! valuing Facebook at over $1B. That's fucking nuts! But they are willing to pay it, so that means they are nuts but have the cash to be nuts.

i also remember when jon leaked that list of 50 companies myspace was going to sue which was confirmed to be 100% real

like lets be honest jon is a decent guy. you know how everyone had that friend in the 4th grade lunchroom who would always top your story with an even better story?

oh cool you went to the bulls game? yeah my dad is friends with michael jordan

you got a bb gun for christmas? yeah i shot a ninja with a bazooka last week

jon is just that kid all grown up and good at affiliate marketing. i dont think we can really blame him for being that kid. we just need to remind him to shut up once in a while.

this is also sort of how i imagine krongel. really good at affiliate marketing, a little delusional, and hyper sensitive to criticism.

while we're analyzing people, lets be honest, ryan eagle does his whole shtick to mask his own insecurities. the part that's weird is that he pretends to parody himself, but it's not really the case. like theres sort of three tiers of understanding birdman.

level 1 - you think he acts flashy to feel superior, and you hate the guy
level 2 - you think he pretends to act flashy to draw attention to his company, and you respect him for having no shame and growing his business by any means necessary
level 3- you realize he is only pretending to pretend to act flashy, and the act is to cover up his own inadequacies. the LV is trying to fill a bottomless hole of broken emotion, which too much to ask of any luggage, really.
