John Yoo vs Jon Stewart

Not to mention that clown Stewart was owned so badly the Left got furious at him and he ended up apologizing. Hilarious.

Stewart is trying to bait him a lot. This is why I don't watch the daily show anymore. For a comedy show, he takes himself (and so do many of the fans) too seriously. He was nice to Ron Paul, yes, I know. But taking this show serious is too much, regardless of political stance.

Yoo made very good points, and collected himself well. I'm going to read that book

Whenever he's challenged, he cries "I'm just a comedian!" I'd love to see a guest go on his show and just laugh in his face when he tries to get all serious and pretend he's an intellectual. "Oh, you're being serious? Lol get out of here! You're just a comedian! What do you know?" Lol

He was nice to Paul becaue Paul's base is HIS demo. It's all about his meager ratings. He would suck Bush's dick to win over the Factor.

He is a pseudo intellectual and a stand up comic...thats all. He panders to his audience. If his ratings came from the over 70 crowd he would be interviewing the golden girls.

And yes, John made him look like the ignorant left wing zealot that he and his 20 year old barely into puberty audience is.

Jon Stewart has something that not many on the right have- he's razor-sharp, witty and has a charming personality. Very likeable person on the liberal side.

But that doesnt change the fact that his show is evidently biased. What's stopping republicans? Don't tell me it's some liberal conspiracy.

You're forgetting South Park can be pretty right-leaning.

I hope you're kidding.......right?

What's conservative about southpark?

South Park routinely preaches self-responsibility and anti-nanny-statism, as well as anti-censorship. Note I didn't say religious right. Michelle Malkin can't stand it (funny, I can't stand her). She calls it "south park conservatism"

It's hard to tell with south park. They usually end up making fun of both left and right in each episode. But there have been some I remember that make a complete mockery of conservatives. I'm thinking about the one where cartman becomes the school morning announcer.

Trey Parker, the creator of South Park, basically believes hard core conservatives suck but hard core liberals suck a whole lot harder. Let common sense dictate your actions. I always though the shows skewed libertarian.

South Park mades fun of both sides. Which is how it should be.

Can't argue with better ingredients, better pizza.

They do skewer both sides and often end up portraying the moderate conservative position as reasonable.

The only thing that Jon should have done differently was ask Yoo tougher questions. He was too soft and ended up being stuck on the same point that Yoo kept giving the same answer for. Stewart should have just moved on to the real questions.

Yoo is a criminal and I wish Stewart would have never given him a public forum.

yeah, moreso what I was thinking about libertarianism. I always detected more right-libertarian from them on a lot of things, but they hit both sides, which is good
