Was surfing blogs and saw this on 5Star Affiliate Linda Buquet's blog
"Tomorrow's Affiliate 'Thang' show at WebmasterRadio should be lively and the chatroom should be rowdy, to say the least. It always is when the WickedFire guys are over there and they are sure to be there in force since Jon, their fearless and outspoken leader will be the star of the show.

Ahh it IS tomorrow.. I thought it was Thursday, haha. I don't think it will be anything hardcore. Shawn said we are just going to discuss news topics. But as usual, I'll try to get them to swear at least once.. heh
 
Oh yeah.. and for those that don't know.. Lisa the co-host of the show is also the publisher and editor-in-chief of Revenue Magazine. I knew her name sounded familiar.

I meant to get over here earlier to post it too, just to be sure all the
WF "rowdies" show up in chat! :)

Only "thang' is I think the time MAY be wrong on WMR. It says 1 EST is showtime. Both Lisa's site and Shawns Affiliate Thing site say 12 eastern
and as far as I know it's always been at that time. They are the hosts
so they should know.

But then again WMR runs the show. Maybe they changed the time and didn't tell the hosts?

What I thought the Education Section was a myth and supposed to be empty just to piss us off whenever we gain access to it. :)

Thats at least what Engaged, or was it Kaveman that said it a long time ago.

Engaged and Kaveman pulling your leg, dude? I thought you had an invite to the member loyalty area at least. I always wondered why I never saw you posting over there.
 
Btw, at ASW, I filled in a forum and got a comp subscription to Revenue. Pretty good info, esp for affiliates.

I get the digital edition sent to me every month.

If you're heading to ASE be sure to stop by the Revenue mag booth and see if you can get a sub. You'd get a bunch of new ideas to boost your CPA and aff mktg campaigns.

I got some useful stuff out of the Web 2.0 article, including urls to resources I didn't know about.

Also found the article on managing your reputation online to be useful.

I knew about Web 2.0 and reputation management, but it was helpful to get validation and alternate perspectives on certain things.

I mostly find benefit in the links, blurbs and stats.
