So anyone here have any invites to Joost?

I signed up for beta few weeks ago, still havnt heard back, but i seen some people are getting invites and stuff for friends.

you guys this isnt like that, its much more. This has lots of channels with hosted shows/music vids and stuff that is legal.

Im not looking for alternatives as I already have/know about them.

What is Joost™?

Joost™ is a new way of watching TV on the internet, which uses new and established technologies to provide the best of both the internet and TV worlds. We're in the process of making it as TV-like as we can, with programmes, channels and adverts. How does it work?

Joost, the upcoming broadcast-quality Internet television service by the Skype founders, announced today that Viacom will be a key content partner.

Under the agreement, Viacom’s divisions – MTV Networks, BET Networks and Paramount Pictures – will provide television and theatrical programming on the Joost platform.

Joost is still in private beta testing, but this content deal announcement is a strong statement. If they can add a couple more deals like this then Joost is off to a great start.
MTV Networks will provide premier content from several of its brands for launch. MTV will offer popular shows, both past and present, including Laguna Beach, Beavis & Butthead, Real World, Punk’d and My Super Sweet Sixteen, while COMEDY CENTRAL will feature episodes from Stella, CCP’s and Freak Show.

So u can see this isnt any illegal come download some episodes people recoded type of thing, this is going to be a big internet TV software thingy.

No I applied for beta a few weeks ago and still waiting to hear back, when I get some invites I'll let you all know, well thats if I can get in on the beta stages.
