Just an idea I had floating around in my head after receiving some messages on the PS3...if you can figure out and code something to send messages to random people on the PS3, xbox, wii networks etc you could drive some nice targeted traffic.
One way I saw this being used is after trying to do a versus match in NHL09 the person (bot I assume) would drop out right away and then I'd receive a message along the lines of "hey want to play in our fantasy league or whatever go to site.com" and what'd you know I went to the site and someone had setup a league where you'd sign up to play matches for $.
I don't know how these guys filter out spam and I'm definitely not condoning going out and spamming a whole bunch of users with random lead gens (though dating could def work) but rather targeting them by whatever game they are playing and making it seem legit like the above example so you can stay under the radar and not get complaints against you. Building a community around something they might be interested in because of whatever game they're playing etc...I imagine the hardest part of this would be the coding.
It's obvious that each game will attract different demographics so that's something to think about.
Anyway just throwing that out there, if you think the idea sucks then awesome, if you think it's good then awesome. If you think you can code something like this then even more awesome, k thx bye.
