Congratulations. I don't trust vehicles made by Indian companies, myself, but it's not like Jags are known for reliability problems.
There was a time when I thought that reports of reliability problems on newer cars were overblown. Figured that most reports/reviews that spoke of them were made by either finicky perfectionists or dumbasses that didn't perform scheduled maintenance.
And then I bought a Land Rover. The dash lights like to light up like a Christmas tree every 2 months...just because.
Never heard anything about Jags, though. Good or bad. Never really researched them either though.
I'd be a little hesitant before spending $70,000 on a car manufactured by Tata (same company that owns Land Rover).
Heh, that thread actually got me interested in this car.
It's a 2008, bought for $60,000.00 CDN.
Only 10k miles on it.
QFT. My RRSSC throws 100 error codes every time it rains, which is thankfully not too often, dealer hasn't been able to correct, and the one time I tried 100mph+ I got an engine fault warning and it went to limp-home like it crashed into a wall.
Yeah, I heard those are the worst. Thankfully mine (LR3) just seems to be more of a spastic computer error problem. It just basically cries wolf whenever it feels like it hasn't had enough attention or something.
Serves you right for not getting a proper range rover, the sport's just a disco with delusions of grandeur and a hyperinflated price tag for poseurs and rappers.

Time for a trip to the local LR stealership! I feel ya, brother. For some reason I still love mine in spite of its headaches.
I know someone who is a LR mechanic and he convinced me not to get one because of all the issues.
If I was absurdly rich I'd get a RR Super Charged anyway because I really like how the they look (the real RR, not that poser RRSport)
congrats to op on the jag even tho i hate jags and it looks like a shittier version of the V8 Vantage but hey to each his own. Getting a car delivered is an awesome feeling, regardless of the model.
